I finally got to try out my new cross country skiis!! We started at the bird refuge parking lot and headed straight out to the ice! It was a little crusty and icy! I barley used my legs because could just glide by pusing with your poles! It was so gorgeous! We went for about an hour! 
This was the crew! The other kids were still in school! So it was Mom and Dad, Cam and I, and of course Luke!
I usually don't wear my hat sidewards don't worry but I was trying to be the "shiz"! It probably didn't work but it was fun while it lasted!! 
AHHHH!! Not sure what to say!
As you may know going down hills on cross country skiis isn't the easy! It was refreshing to see it happen to Dad though! Needless to say he stayed at the back of the line the rest of the time!
