Spring Break!

For spring break I took a bit of an adventure! I've never been on vacation with just friends, Heather Wadman and Ashlie Randall, so this was quite the new experience!! It ended up being a ton of fun! Also the weather in St. George definately beat the two feet of snow that fell in Logan!!

The first day was a little cool and very windy! So we went shopping and shopping! Not my favorite activity but it is what you make it! We tried on "old lady" easter hats and got a good laugh out of them! Although I became quite attached to mine I resisted the impulse to buy it!

The next day was quite a bit warmer so I drug my groupies hiking in Snow Canyon! It was so fun we went to the lava tubes! After dropping into one we found a small tunnel that lead to another cavern. With no flash light and strange noises coming from all around you can imagine what the three of us were feeling this picture does not do it justice for sure!After going down we went the opposite direction and climbed a mountain! Really it wasn't that high but the view was amazing and the sun felt so good!

On our way out we did one last quick stop to check out these names that were written with axle grease. The oldest one was written in 1881!Unfortunately the pool was not a very great attraction! It was absolutely FREEZING!! Which in a way provided some entertainment! To see who was brave(stupid) enough to jump in!! As you can see I was a winner!
No trip would be complete without a stop at the temple! We weren't able to attend but we walked the ground and met a real sweet couple misssionaries. They were from Perry and eager to hear the goings on in northern Utah!

We each left our mark so that the next crew down there would know the three of us had been there! Hopefully we cleaned everything so this doesn't turn into a source of incrimination!This one speaks for itself!!

The trip was a blast! I hope to get back down there soon!!
