President's Day Weekend!

President's Day weekend was a much needed break from school! And it was spent almost entirely in the SNOW!!

We built this master piece on Valentine's Day! She's a really beauty!! Her inspiration came from a cute magnet Blake sent home for my birthday!! Although I assure you the magnet was much more attractive and not nearly as ginormous!! Not much is left of her now. The record storm (31 inches in a day) on Monday the 17th left none of her grass skirt showing and her black hair was transformed into a white afro of sorts!

We also went tubing as a family on President's day! It had been a while and some of us (Leonard) were a bit nervous!!

Our dog Luke came along as well! According to Dad dog's love to sled so Luke went down the hill a few times but mostily just ran up and down chasing us and the fox that kept peaking out of his hole I believe just to tease Luke!

What would tubing be without a jump! The snow was a bit soft so we never caught much air but when your zooming down this hill and you hit it it feels like you are flying!

We almost made it without any injuries! But Jo had to go and face plant it! By the way she was acting we thought either her eye was somewhere in the snow or that it was going to black and blue. But no it just got a good washing by the snow!

It was an excellent day all around! Sunny and warm!! Lots and lots of fun!!
