LAKE POWELL!!

Lake Powell was a BLAST!! It was our family, the Torman's, the Marker's, and the Crookston's!

The first day was really chilly so no one was to excited to get in the cool water. So Cam, Jo, and I went exploring and came upon this mud/sinking hole! Later that trip a shoe would be lost here!

As you can see Jo was enjoying it a little too much!!
SAND MOUNTAIN! I don't know how this happened but right inbetween these cliffs is the white and soft sand that is so fun to play in. The object is to get to the top which is more challenging than it looks being that every step you take you sink back half a step. So when you get to the top your so "pooped" out! But coming down is so worth it. It's steep enough you can jump and go down forever and the landing is so soft!

Wiatt helped little Izzy all the way to the top!

This is from the top! The LennyNicole is the boat on the far right!

This is how Izzy got down I don't think she touched the ground once!

HIKING! We went on a few hikes while it was too cool to enjoy the water. This area was just above where our house boat was parked! We saw a few bunny's and lots of lizards!

Above is Cam's "man pose"! Isn't he looking good!

Below is Jo and I trying to do a "women pose"! Yes we don't look nearly as good as Cam but we tried and that's all that matters! Right?

Cam learned how to levitate while we were there also!

RAINBOW BRIDGE! According to the Ranger this arch is just shorter than the Empire State building! Pretty impressive!

This is our whole group minus the Torman's but add some family of the Marker's!

After hiking we were ready for the water! Wiatt and Anna enjoyed some boogie boarding!

Then I talked Cam, Wiatt, and Anna into tubing! Cause it's the best!

After they ditched out on me Mom got on the tube for the first time in years! It was so fun! We even tried out a new "extreme" way to tube! Where a boat goes right along ours so you have to deal with the converging waves and it was so crazy! The pictures definately don't do it justice!

HIKING! We found this cool "petrified tepee" or so we called it! Near here was a place where the Indians would go to make their arrow heads! Last year Justin Torman found a whole arrowhead! This year all we found were the chips, but it was still great!

The three boys! What a good looking group!

We found this cool little slot canyon! Jo had just completed the task of climbing out of it!

And this is me struggling to get out!

Cam and me went out wakeboarding! Cam tried it out for the first time since his mission. Matt Marker told him "Go big or go home!" So Cam went big! The landing wasn't quite so great though!

Not such a pretty picture!!

CRAFT TIME!! During the evenings we always had fun crafts to do! From pipe cleaners and friendship bracelets to fun lake powell t-shirts!

This is all the kids but baby Aspen showing off our new shirts! Len is especially excited about about showing his off!!

We couldn't leave till someone got buried! Len was the lucky duck! He led the way to a few of the other brave boys doing it as well! I think Mom had some thoghts of leaving him there!

This also is worth documenting! Before playing the last day these three did their cleaning up duty like "real men"! Yes there were some funny words going around as they did!

This is Matt being a "Dill Hole"! His official nickname of the trip!
SAYING GOODBYE! It was a great trip with lots of fun memories!!
